Wedding Gifts Direct How Do I Take Care Of Potted Lilies?

How do I take care of potted lilies? - wedding gifts direct

For a wedding gift, I have a peace lily in a pot. I am really terrible when it comes to plants, but I would try to take properly care of this plant. The plant is in my living room that much sun, but gets no direct sunlight. Every few days the plant will start on the water and sheets are recommended, but the leaves begin to turn on the floor .... Yellow I'm over watering? Other suggestions for how to take care of this plant?

Peace lily (Spathiphyllum) is one of the houseplants are the easiest to develop.

They love water, so it is unlikely that you have too much water. If you want to leave them before watering every time, are insufficient. Although "savings" quickly, whenever you want to leave it as you print on the soles.
Water when the soil feels dry to the touch something up, or when the pot starts to feel a little easier. Water thoroughly and discard drainage. Let your plants in the water. This can start a root rot, and also carries fertilizers and minerals accumulate in the soil, so that brown edges on the leaves.

Use a houseplant fertilizer sweet, but do not overdo it. Half of the concentration recommended on the label, the better.

Peace Lily tolerate low light but grow best in full sunlight, but not directly, then it seems a beautiful place.

Remove faded flowers and leaves appear yellow. (A yellow leaves from time to time is normal)

Good luck!

It appears that plants must be re-potted plants are not reversed in a large pot with water, even if they win a couple of days.
Peace Lillies are easy to maintain. Use a good potting soil mix and water about twice a week (less in winter) and cut them once a week or less, the leaves and green leaves with a damp cloth.
This will keep your Lilly that looks good.
